Thread: Router Settings get RESET

Hello Friends,

I have a BSNL Broadband, I have been provided with UT300R2U ADSL device.
The problem I have is after I have configured my user name, password, disabled SNMP etc and do a restart or reboot. It resets everything to its initial settings.

i.e. it shows user name and password to multiplay/multiplay and enables SNMP. I mean the settings are not permanently reflected.

But some times, the settings are there for 3 to 4 restarts, some times the very next restart makes it reset to default.

in some routers, vendor provides some global 'Save All' option that saves all changes permanently. did you search for any option like that?

very true.. ive faced the same problems.. if you are connecting via USB , then try via LAN..
