    Default Wireless not working at home, BSNL Modem

    Hi,
    I have an Type4 modem for the past 18 months from BSNL. For the past 15 days i am not able to connect to my laptop via wireless. I have tried all options, in vain.
    Pls help.

    is your laptop wireless network card detecting your modem?

    did you make any changes in your modem?

    only wireless has a problem??

    have u tried using the PPPoE mode

    Hi,
    I have WA1003A type modem. Yes my laptop is able to detect the connection and it also says connection is good, excellent etc. However its not able to recieve data when i am not connected via cable.

    Yes only wireless has a problem.

    No, i have not made any changes so far..all of a sudden i am facing this problem.

    You should try ppoe mode. means dialing mode. If it fails then it can be diagnosed.

    to ensure you are in ppoe mode.. follow this Quidway WA-1003A ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION .. also type ipconfig in your command prompt and post a screenshot here

    i have same modem & can connect laptop without any problem. if yr lappy is able to find connection then u have to setup conn. on laptop. no need to change in modem setting.
