Thread: night 2mbps in ul750??? :o

It was 1 am in the morning tonight and i was having a normal download speed in utorrent (i.e 30KBps). But then i rebooted my router using telnet and my speed started to jump up. It jumped to 40KBps which lasts for 2secs at most but it didn't stop. In 2 minutes it gradually jumped to 254KBps and maintained above 230 uptil now. Internet surfing was faster (like thunder ofc)
I am really excited and so i cant w8 till morning to make a conclusion
Also, i've done the same downloading at night and reboot a thousand times but nothing ever happened (except that i have to restart utorrent sometimes )
So the obvious question is
Is there any night 2mbps for ul750 or is it just a lucky day for me???
and why is that my speed jumped up after reboot only
But for now i better go to bed (school reopens today xD)

you guessed right!you were lucky.BSNL has no plans for 2mbps speeds on home 750 plan for at least some years.

Speed has starting to reach 300KBps some times, Max i got was 325

I have RS 750 UL plan with 256kbps, but from last few days I am getting speed of upto 50KBps I wonder why?

That i will sujith, although my connection keeps dieing and without manual reboot torrents don't regain speed but that has always been a problem actually...even telnet fails to reboot on such disconnections

This is nothing but it is a fluctuation only. May be some upgrading is going on. I was in Home 750 UL and I got only 32kbps. but sometime it goes to 250kbps.

Well, having more than 200 KBps for a day non-stop couldn't be called fluctuation. Should be because of some upgrade process or repair work !
