BSNL is not as bad as we think. Its evident from my very first experience.

Yep !! I actually felt sorry, that I expected a delayed and irrelevant reply from BSNL. But, to my surprise, it all was clarified within a business day - without a hassle.

Being, a DataOne broadband user, sometime back, I was dismayed by the overcharging for the extra MBs that fell well within my 1 GB limit. I had mailed the officers @ BSNL’s Chennai and Delhi Offices.

To my surprise I got a call within 5-6 Hrs of mailing the details. They assured me of a credit-adjustment.

The lesson is that, you have to Communicate to the right person in a right way - even if its their mistake.

I would Suggest BSNL to have a 24x7 Customer support (1600-424-1600) to include technical support also. Currently, they are responsible for logging complaints and interacting with customers. And, I am being re-directed to some other number for any tech. queries - which is being charged a local call rate.

I think BSNL is on the MOVE !! If the Customer-service is upgraded, no-doubt, they will surely remain the leader in market share in telephony industry.
