LAN means Local Area Network, i.e. local to your own network.

Do you mean that you wish to create a LAN at home where multiple machines can connect to the same BB connection? Then yes, this is very much possible. I have written a few guides on the same.

As just4kix said. LAN means Local Area Network. And Broadband is WAN. WAN stands for wide area networking. If you want LAN then it is possible to your Home PCs only. But if you want LAN over broadband to the PCs at another place of the country. Then you can go for VPN. but this is a bit different from LAN. Now the choice is yours.
