Thread: Poor connection

Hi
right from 1st july onwards it is seen that whenever i power on my modem
after the power and pc/usb line becomes live ,the the Link led starts blinking continously after handshaking process. Almost all the tomes i am able to make the connection but after 4 or 5 attempts (Earlier the link led used to be completely stable and the connection started immidietly.)My conecrn is : is the modem going bad or this is because of the rainy season.BSNl is saying that lot of their lines are getting damaged due to this.

Yes this is due to rainy season. As moisture is rusting (Carbon coating) the wires. Make a complain to your local exchange. i think this will solve your problem.
