Which One Rules? U Decide?

windows---->if you want a system ready to do anything including gaming.
linux---->if you want to learn & need a stable system with very little gaming time.
mac---->if you want to impress others & want a nice looking stable system again with little gaming time.

Hi,

I agree with whitestar_999, with additional comments.

Windows: When there is a virus or security attack , you need to spend money or time. System performance gets slower day by day and one day you have to format your PC for sure.

Linux: The learning curve is always high, you need to troubleshoot when there is any issue, and anyway Google is there to rescue us very stable.

Mac: simple with style

Linux rules!

I just checked in stats of all the visitors on this forum for this year and 85% use windows and rest are linux and mac, a small percentage uses some other OS and a few come in using mobile browsers.

U know admin, i cudnt like u anymore than this for being such a help. but how do u find out these stats. does it get picked up automatically when someone writes about it in forum?

datacenter 2008 is so cool,, with superb secuirity,, cant even think a way to hack such an operatin system,,administrative tools have all the tools for an advanced user,,

If you are a novice and dont want to try hard on accesing your computer, then windows is the best. If you don't like microsoft or bill gates, then linux is best. Mac...hmm although good looking and impressive still not much likeable, at least by me.

every one who opens a site is sending a request to the site's server to download pages & this request contains information about the OS & the browser you are using(referral i think).this information is there in the site logs.

ahh yes now that u mentioned it... its what they call cookies... one piece from our side and the other from their side... and so thats y the cookies are helpful... cos they always feed the servers stomach with good food!!

cookies are mostly used for tracking browsing pattern & session history,logins etc.the request send by browsers is different.
