    Default proxy settings

I am BSNL broadband user plan home 500
    my questions are as follows

    1. if some sites like icicibank , microsoft are not opening when connection is bsnl broadband but the same sites are opening when connection is gprs of cellone ( on the same computer without any changes ) then entering anonymous proxy sites in the setting will solve the problem or not

    2. is using proxy sites safe and secure as all data like password etc will travel through the proxy server.

    3. is there any other option available to bypass the bsnl server as i think bsnl is blocking these sites.

proxy sites are not recommended for opening bank sites..bsnl isnt blocking sites you could try changing MTU values http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...broadband.html (Beetel 440TXI for BSNL Broadband)

using free proxy sites for banking is not recommended.some famous proxy sites provide secured services but for a price.
