Thread: A soln for all ur problems;free download till 8.30!!!

Hi guys here is the soln for all ur problems about billing for those who have 500 plan.

For ever 30 mins there will be a new session starting in ur modem. So if u connect ur modem before 2.00 a.m,the session will get started at non free hour(i.e, before 2.00) and session will continue till the next 30 mins. So connect Switch on the modem after 2.00.

We can use this problem of bsnl to get a free download for extra 30 mins for those who have 500 plans.

Disconnect ur modem at 7.50 a.m or 7.55 am, but be sure that the time doesnt cross 8.00 when u disconnect. After u disconnect, just give a break of 10 sec and reconnect it so that the session will start at free hous and it will continue to next 30 mins.

If u disconnect and reconnect ur modem at 7.55, then u will get usage in free hours for next 30mins that is till 8.25.

U will get nearly 360 mb download extra in 30 mins if download speed is 200kbps.

I have built up an external circuit which will switch on the modem at 2.05.It costs only about 30 Rs. AND IT WORKS!!!!!!!!

and why do u need a circuit for your modem ??

u can do it in bridge mode to schedule connections automatically. so i save 30 bucks :P

I seriously doubt that it will work, at least for me, as i have done it before. i used to do the same thing too. I have been charged for the downloads i make during the time after 8 am. is it really true that you are not been charged?!

Ya the billing cycle is 30mts, confirmed from BSNL BB office.

even i have noticed free download after 8..........the thing is that... u should initialize the download before 8(bsnl server time, so make sure that it isnt crossed, safe is 7.54)... till 8.25 u will get free download........the best part of this is .......after 8 most of download geeks would stop their download... hence we will get amazing download speed then...try this guys
