Angry HELP home 500 c plan with wa3002g4 (type 4) HELP

hi guys. Today is my first day as a bsnl user. I have taken the 2mb/s 1.5gb limit plan.

When the bsnl guy installed the modem and went away it was fine. the http, ftp downloads were coming at around 150kb/s.

but when I tried torrents (Utorrent) it is not getting any speed.

I tried bridge and pppoe but still the download in utorrent is not crossing 6kb/s.

I read the posts and I also tried port forwarding, though I get a green tick at the bottom, the speed is still not crossing 6kb/s.

I did check if it had download limitations but it was set as unlimited.

I've configured my firewall as well but the speed just isn't picking up.

any ideas what I could do???

Or does BSNl suck like this for everyone??

I have been using bsnl with the same plan and found the speed to be decent. Btw do check whether your plan was indeed 500 c or unlimited?! you know never these bsnl people what they might have done! Else check whether you are somewhat nearer your exchange or what?

always enable encryption for outgoing traffic in uTorrent settings & check that torrent has large no. of seeds & peers.try any latest hollywood movie torrent from mininova especially from AXXO section & then see how much speed you get.
