    Well, I was shocked to see the screen-shot posted by u, so I just installed it on my PC to check for myself if it was general error. But on my Windows 7, screen-shots were similar to those which are posted on website, so I think urs is a specific case.

    I would like to know which is ur default browser and what is font settings of that browser and wat is DPI of ur system?

    Sorry. I could not test your application.
    OS: Windows XP Pro ( Genuine) SP3.\

    You can specify the DPI/FONT/ FontSize I should use.

    Well browser has got to do with the windows posted b'coz the control panel and the help files are shown in an HTA application which uses IE to render the pages. So with change of IE sometimes things change.

    Font Size should be normal and DPI should be 96

    The Maximise/ Minimize buttons are missing.
    Perhaps you have to enable it by changing HTA commands to yes?

    .............
    ApplicationName="Control Panel"
    NAVIGABLE="Yes"
    MinimizeButton="No"
    MaximizeButton="No"
    Border="Thin"..........
    Tried with browser IE8 active.........
    Even when the program was being installed
    I got same size windows.
    Help center scroll effect Up/down left/right OK> size immaterial.

    Yes I did that (removal of maximize button) purposefully to make the Control panel look more cool. I hadn't put much of efforts b'coz I didn't had time and initially I had made this program for my person use only.

    Well I'm still not able to understand this odd phenomenon, that has happened on your machine.

    I have already made v1.5 which is way better and I'll soon start work on v2.0 but I haven't released v1.5 b'coz this application concerns net usage so I don't want people to have long bills b'coz of some bug, so I want it to be tested first.

    Hope some people come up to beta test it.

    NO !
    as a forum member , i would like to suggest
    member's applications, only after trying it out myself to the maximum extent possible.
    You have to make the program easier for newbies to just download and apply the settings.
    My interest is also, to check "why some applications don't load properly/display etc " in my computer. ( May be fault, still in my computer,
    why the original code did not work properly )
    It is expected, that you will incorporate suggestions by members, and remove the difficulties in revised versions.

    Please Wait for other members feedback, about the functionality of your application.

    By the way, why the dialup connection is shown as NETONE ?

    Well, first of all I don't have DataOne connection anymore (Not b'coz I dislike it but b'coz the new area where I shifted BSNL's connection isn't available).

    Secondly, I tested it on my friends PC's too but that kind of text problem wasn't there on any PC so far I tested.

    Wat's screen resolution of ur PC?

    @ Ricksoft

    Request a team viewer session with essbebe. By that way you can understand the error he is talking about.

    Well, it has got to do something with Fonts, theme or other display incompatibility.

    @meetdilip. wait for inputs from members, who have successfully used this application comfortably.
    I find scrolling action Up/down a bother in the small window. Problem only In Control Panel. Window .
    Please see Post No 56 & 58 regarding
    The Maximise/ Minimize buttons are missing.
    Perhaps you have to enable it by changing HTA commands to yes?
    and his reply.

    By @Ricksoft's own admission was
    done in a hurry, ( with NETONE for dialer ) and the other version 1.5 he is testing . and he is making version 2 !

    @Ricksoft
    What resoultion I should set ?
    Presume you want me to change the settings in
    Desktop/Properties/settings etc. wait.......
    It is set for 1600 x 1200 pixels
    Highest (32 bits )
    200% normal size 192 DPI
    Tried other resolutions but no improvement.
    If you need I can post other windows of other applications for comparison. with/ without the max buttons.

    Dude as I had said its some display problem in your system, and its DPI. When I used 200% DPI on my computer I had similar problems too. So you may add an extra line that in requirements 96 DPI should also be there.

    DFBA v1.0 (Dataone Free-Bandwidth Automation), which allows you to automatically run download software like uTorrent, Bittorrent, IDM etc. and lets you automatically shut your computer after it at specified time. So it helps you use your night time free bandwidth that too without any hassles. Moreover it is free and just requires an ATX computer and Auto power option in Bios (which is common in computers after 2002).

    Please send your comments or feedback through support page of the site to let me improve the software.

    You have read what people want from software, why can't you come up with
    write up about DFBA software can do for us, clearing all doubts.
    I want auto wake-up and shut down timer and auto start the download manager, some want auto start net connection. Will all this happen?

    3.
    See my post about another application
    FREE Ram in forum Windows.
    http://www.indiabroadband.net/window...e-license.html (Fresh Ram Free License.)
    4.
    Because I sent them similar complaint, and for feedbacks from me , they have offered FREE license to IBF members on their own.

    6. Appears BSNL data.bsnl.in web site has
    removed the "BUGS" and the usage meter shows correctly U/L usage correctly now. I cannot test as I am a @dataone.in user Ip 59.xx.xx.xx

    @Ashoka

    Well DFBA already provide auto starting download manager and shutdown (timed) and I'll surely try to include auto wake up in coming versions.

    @essbebe

    U can easily see the screenshots at following link : RickSoft.co.nr - DFBA Screenshots

    From above screenshots u'll be able to deduce that even Help Center isn't coming up as I've designed it to be so Its precisely due to DPI (U can see by changing DPI to 96 that problem will be solved).

    Yes. You are right. But I cannot change my personal settings for your application ONLY and have eye strain.
    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
    Uninstalled the application, as I don't need it ,and testing is over.

    The very basic question appears to me like, how to go at a maximum speed during peak traffic times and that too without spending for petrol.
    the query could be more logical than a wild wish to our benefit only.
    Hope the O P realises this aspect.
    there are certain limitations and we cant get the best for free

    @essbebe

    I'm thankful to u for testing my application and in future versions, I'll keep size of application windows dynamic (i.e it will be according to DPI of that PC)

    @mvs sarma

    Well speed depends a lot on type of torrent being selected and optimum settings (which u get by experience)
