ok from my experience what i have realized is that when one has a limited download package u get higher speeds in terms of KB/s. for eg i have an unlimited plan. but my friend who has a limited 1.5 GB/ month plan gets speeds like 200KB/s while downloading torrents while i barely get around 30 KB/s. is this true? do u get better speeds in limited download package plans ??

All limited plans will get upto 2 Mbps speed. Unlimited plans have lesser speed.

    UL 750, UL 750 + = 256 Kbps / 32 KBps

    UL 1350, UL 1350 + = 512 Kbps/ 64 KBps

    Other plans = Upto 2 Mbps / 256 KBps

For UL plans, speed are stable. 512 for UL 1350 and 256 for UL 750.

Avergae will be somewhere around 60 KBps.

Did you made any change recently ?

Please mention how you analyze the speed. Try speedtest.net or a download from Microsoft to analyze the speed. For torrent, you should try port forwarding.

Go to portforward.com, select your modem and follow the steps. Also refer

    hi mates.....
i currently have ul 750 plan.
everything is great with this plan except speed !
the speed is really slow..just 30kbps.
so now i am switching to 500c+ plan.
    as it has good spead.
here i want to ask one thing.
i had read somewhere that if we regularly download heavy files between 2am-8am.then after 4-5 days the downloading speed goes automatically down due to server.
    is this right ?
    plz tell me.

Remember to switch off and On your modem a little after 2.00 am and a little before 8.00 am. The start and end time should be within 2 - 8 to avail night unlimited. Speed may dip a bit during night unlimited. It will be somewhere around 150 + KBps.

    Thumbs up

For me Home UL1350 is the best plan, coz it will give you a moderate speed and 0% tension for crossing the DL and UL limit of your monthly quota.

    Yeah.. Its fine.
I'm currently holding UL 750 plan.. it rocks but, sometimes gives a limited connectivity. But, it is 101% safe. I'll say it is the safest plan.
Same with the UL 1350 plan... Both are fine.

But, if you wants higher speed & connectivity too, then go for Home 500C or Home 100 plan.. Only the thing is rebooting the modem a little bit after 2.00 AM & a bit before 8.00 AM... But, it can be done.

Use AutoDisconnector (Google it!), it will be fine.. only we have to set the time, it will disconnect at that time.. At night, we can manage!

Rest of the things, are similar.. :clown:

Smile Best Plan is BBG FN Combo 599!

Because, this is normal speed upto 512kbps = 72KB/sec.

    4GB free download.

    200 free calls.

    Night(2pm - 8am) Unlimited free download.

You can't download upto 4 GB in Unlimited 625.

I think, this is waste your time and money.

So choose, BBG FN Combo 599.
