Thread: BSNL Billing Cycle

how does this damn billing cycle work for internet cos im very confused... i got my connection on 16th june which is a 750UL and and as of today using that shaplus bandwith meter it says i have 13 days left for this connection to expire for the month of july.

another thing i forgot to mention is that my telephone bill has now become 3231...:47: so anybody know how much they r gonna charge the **** outta me... i mean i havent even completed 2 months and so much money???

Since you are in unlimited plan (are you sure you got that plan, did you apply for the same) you dont have to worry about excess bandwidth or billing at all.

yup dude thats what i applied for and thats what has been given to me from the beginning... do they charge the modem price.im finding it difficult to come to their conclusion of 3231.

check this out i applied for the line 27th may

i got modem on 2nd june.

i got my mail with my user id and password on 15th on my mobile and on 16th with in my mailbox.

and now i hav a bill dated for 9 july at RS 3231.

so can anyone figure out this calculation.... lets catch 350 as my phn bill so 3231-350=2881

so now can anyone divide this 2881 into the right calculation?

and dont forget im using 750 UL since 16th

here Expiry means the expiry of the month and not your account. You will be charged 842.70 per month basis excluding your call bill

+Rs 500/- installation charges + Rs 1800/- (one time price of type -II modem outright purchase) + Rs/- 843.75 ( BB usage) + Tele Rental upto Jun 16.

Confirm u've opted modem outright or not!!

but i ticked the option to take the modem on rent.

welcome to the club!same thing happened to me.it seems that in some cities bsnl is forcing their modems on people even if they ticked the rent option.even i came to know about this only when i got the bill & by that time it was too late.

BSNL service in our area is good. There are 2 reason for it
1. No other option is there.
2. BSNL guy are very much co-operative.

you got a bill ??? i didnt even get one..
my bb was activated on 24 june, i got my bill on 15 jul for may june,
guess what, no sign of bb bills in it at all
so i call them , thay say it will be credited in nxt bill

total crab...

Write a complaint and get a recieved signature and stamp from the nearest BSNL office.. if they still dont sort out the problem then just spend Rs100 and put a complaint up with your nearest consumer court and just say in your complaint that you never said you want to buy the modem.

The moment they get the summons they will start calling you and your problem will be sorted within no time.

It will be a lesson for BSNL.
