never buy evdo. I just surrendered it after spending painful 3 months with it.

my say ,never go for a wll network of a large operator. at least for few yrs

evdo works on 2 connections
one is CDMA 1X and another is EDGE

if there is a tower near your house which has EDGE enable , you will get really good speed as per the rating it is 2.4 Mbps
but if there is no EDGE tower then it will communicate on CDMA 1x which is around 144 kbps

so if u have edge near your house go for it else dont
