Thread: Data usage not being updated

Data usage on bbservice.bsnl.in is not getting updated from past 3 days. The last update was on the 18th. I have almost nearly used up my allotted bandwidth in my 500 C connection and very desperate to know the usage. Also when checking usage through the software dataone quick usage finder it logs onto other peoples account. I have to manually open browser window and log into the account.
Anybody else facing this problem??

there is a problem with the portal.. theres nothing much you can do but wait

That was real quick. I was wondering if i needed to file a complaint or something with their customer service. Shall wait for some more days.

wont help mate, as it is something which is affecting the whole country.. so im sure they would be aware of it

Also, does anyone else's dataone quick usage finder log into other random peoples accounts even after putting your own account information??? even if it logs in, is there any chance that it might be misused??
just a little concerned about safety here. I was used to the unlimited connection earlier never had to deal with limited bandwidth or the portal itself.

Im using Shaplus Software instead of bbservice.bsnl.in and its doing good work for me

well i dont know about using that software which was causing u to log in to other peoples accounts automatically but that would only happen if there was a slight mistake of a usersID so if users ID is 1234 and u type 124 with password as password then it logs in to other accounts automatically. i didnt even hav to use this software. it happend with the IE browser itself.


Anyways my request to everyone is change ur Portal Password as well as ur Broadband Password. the option is available to do so in the portal page.


and if ur not liking keeping track of ur data using dataone site then u can use DU Meter. it gives u a load of all the MBs which u have used up in a day. and u can even create the alert to warn u when u have reached a certain MB limit...

many times I also logged onto some others account even after logging with my own userid and password. Interestingly, I have found that when I press the enter key this has happened and when I started clicking "submit" button I got my own id. I wonder there must be some programming error.

BSNL started updatoing the portal. Wewere also unable to check the usage. But I check a few miniutes ago. and its updating.

Portal's updated again. I had no clue it was a nation wide problem...

I am also facing same problem . My details have not been updated 19th july onwards. Hope BSNL soon rectify this.

yup its back, but not with a bang though

OK its working but it is unsorted and not easy to understand

Now the shaplus dataone usage finder is useless. It is displaying datatype mismatch.

Its not a problem with any software being used here. Looks like they are updating the portal. Also the usage displayed is haphazard.
But it should be up soon.
Pray everybody.... end of the month. hope i don't exceed the limit.

working fine with me...just chkd usage 5 min. back....no issues

After the portal got a face lift the software I was using is atleast not getting updated. On the portal the last update date is 23rd were as on my software its 20th. Looks like its not able to sync correctly with the portal.

10.x.x.x links for checking usage only works for old bsnl customers having IP 59.x.x.x

I myself was amazed one day when the portal opened someone else's account instead of mine.
This thing has happenned to me twice.
