HI,

Can anyone help me out to solve my problem of the bsnl broadband. I had UT300R2U modem with unlimited plan. Previously, my connection was good. But, I am having the problem of disconnecton of connecton again and again with messages as "remote computer does not respond" or "the phone is busy". I contacted the person of bsnl and they said the line is good from our side as the dial tone of phone and all are good. And my problem not solved and still there is issue of disconnection.

This is a port and line problem. Earlier I have posted a thread in this forum regarding this kind of fault, nobody can give me a good idea. but later on when I proceed to BSNL then they find that my line and my port was faulty.

Thanks for you all sb21pro, robert_0007, superprash2003 for your replies. I had the problem and just browing this our forum, I went over the configuring the router setting and did some setting of router as described by one of our member Ozdesi on 14/12/2007 and today changed the default DNS values of bsnl to 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 in order to just accelerate the connection speed to have the third party DNS as it was also described by one of our member and since morning it is working quite better. I really do not know whether it is due to this that the problem did not occured. Well, I have only one pc at home and sometimes, I share with my laptop.
