i was wondering what everybody is downloading?i came across threads like how much download do u do in a month and many replies were like more than 100 GB and like wise.i download movies,TV series episode and sometimes softwares but after a couple of GB's worth of downloading i run out of options as to what else to download.so friends please tell me what are u downloading.

Exactly same question is running in my mind that what are the things that people are downloading. I think downloading a movie is not a wise work and it is a complete wastage of time as the movies are available on rent from video library. Downloading software is ok. But what are the software to be downloaded because one can have interest on 1 or 2 topic but it will be about say 100GB. then what?

well downloading TV series in good quality AVI's is a good way to spend bandwidth.each ep is around 350MB so 1 season of 23 eps is around 8GB.i agree that though in a month you should be able to download all the series you wanted.after this you can either keep downloading older series or aim for HD quality where 1 ep is around 1GB but HD content is useless in my opinion unless you have a FULL HD LCD TV which will cost around 1 lakh & a good speaker system around 25000.i personally prefer downloading anime series & trust me if you find animes interesting you will find 100GB not enough.

hey what series are you into? am currently dloading THE OC,prison break,entourage.next am getting the whole alias series and the 4th season of lost and may be The X files.i mostly get these through torrents where most of the video are in "scaled down" widescreen HD format worth 350 Mb,but if i need something in hurry i get them from tudou.com in .Flv format which is like 80 MB for a 44 minute episode.

well i only download eps in 350MB AVI format because i don't like watching series or for that matter any video in low quality because it spoil the enjoy of watching.ALIAS series is good.i have all 5 seasons.my personal favorites are---HEROES,SMALLVILLE,KYLE XY,SEVEN DAYS,JOHN DOE,ALIAS.

I am downloading mostly anime series and my stomach is not full yet , i am not interested in downloading TV series but if i get time i will download "The X-Files" which was pretty good and serious when i was used to watch it!
Besides downloading animes i download softwares like photoshop, dreamweaver, primevera some GIF imaging softwares some video capturing softwares and the list going on!!

no no no not that video capture just for editing the video i was saying a capture software which captures each and every frame of a video!! for editing purposes

i download all good movies which i like and can not find in local CD wala shop...
apart from that sometimes i download songs and video albums too... thats it...
last week i downloded Windows Vista Ultimate which is 4.7 GB

my friend windows vista ultimate is ~2.6GB for 32bit version.you have most probably downloaded both 32 bit & 64 bit versions.anyway i always download original OS not pre-cracked ones because you can never know about security risks.my suggestion is download the original OS & then download & use some crack to see it's full functionality & if you like it buy it.it is just 1 time investment for tension free future with no worries about your crack being disabled in future after some update.you can get original VISTA ULTIMATE OEM version for around $180.

also if you want to check the originality of vista/xp you downloaded(only if download claims it is untouched/unmodified because any pre-cracked version is obviously modified) visit here.you can get the checksums(like digital fingerprints unique to every file)of original microsoft released CD's/DVD's for its premium customers.click on show details to get checksums for various releases.if checksum of what you downloaded matches with microsoft ones you can be sure that the XP/VISTA you downloaded is original unmodified version.you still have to use crack though.

VISTA ULTIMATE RETAIL costs $279 & only difference between OEM & RETAIL is you won't get support from microsoft & that OEM version is supposed to be remain activated only on the hardware on which it was 1st activated so if you decide to say change your motherboard you will have to call microsoft & explain them that you just replaced your motherboard & that's why you need to reactivate your VISTA OEM.in case of retail version no questions are asked & you don't have to explain anything.
