check your settings once again.also you have to apply the settings after making all changes.one more thing if you have successfully configured your modem in pppoe mode dial up connection from windows won't work.if it is still working then your modem is still not in pppoe mode.

This problem is I think with BSNL. But if you change something in your rauter page then also it may happen.
