Connecting four computers thru zxdsl 831 aii modem and dlink des1008d eight port swit i have recently subscribed to bsnl home unltd plan. i have got zxdsl 831 aii modem and d link 1008d eight port switch. how do i configure the modem and computers to connect four computers to the net simultaneously. three computers run win xp and one computer runs win vista.
Configure modem in PPPoE mode
Connect all pcs with modem port using ethernet straight through cable.
TCP/IP properties - " obtain ip address automatically"
