Thread: My Problem wid BSNL Broadband

hi frnds...
I am facing a problem from a very long time with BSNL Broadband..

when i try to open some sites... it doesn't open and says " PAGE LOAD ERROR - Address Not Found"""

somw of the websites are The Internet Movie Database (IMDb)
this site never opens..

and some sites like IBNLive News | India News Homepage dont open... and i keep refreshing it like 10-20 times... then it opens... but, The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) never opened...

try changing your DNS servers to opendns. their ips are 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

I am using the same ones u posted above ...

any other clues ???

u tried logging in from another os say ubuntu???just wanted to make sure that it isnt something related to windows....

Have you tried a different browser?

you can also try free web proxy sites like anonymouse.

yea, its not working in all the browsers...

i am finally doing that... using it anonymously... then its working..

also chk ur fire wall setings

try changing MTU setting in your modem.keep lowering it to 1450 from 1492/1500 & see if it helps.MTU setting is usually in LAN settings of modem.

Are you able to browse/surf other sites if no, then check if you have installed any updates recently that may cause the problem. Uninstall the latest updates. I did it for my Hp Notebook on windows Vista.
