In my pc you tube streaming is damn......in spite of having good download rates..i am using opendns server service.....please help me out

try speed bit video accelarator. or pause for a minute if the player loads automatic

I have noticed that when ever I open a youtube page at morning its too slow. But later at evening or night speed increases. Happens only with youtube.

When the video plays initially just click the pause button and let the whole bar go red before playing it, this way you will get unintrupted video.

Yes. I usually do that. But sometimes, especially at morning before 11 AM, it takes too long to stream completely. Ive compared the the time to stream during night & morning. It does not happen everyday though. Also does newly uploaded videos take more time Or if too many users are watching the same video can it take more time ?

There is no way of telling that but its should be 6-7mb I guess but please dont quote me on that. If you dont have an unlimited connection then videos and music downloads are not for you... its better to get an unlimited connection if you like watching videos online.

Does anyone have an exact idea of what file size would a 5min video on youtube be?

5mins = 12 - 15MB approx
