Thread: interface of usage site changed completely

Dear friends,

the BSNL usage site has changed completely. Once can see usage for a particular date period and there is provision for export to excel. also it shows MAC details so that once can know if somebody else using our id. Very good.

what are you talking about?i don't see any such options in the bsnl portal for new users(IP 117.x.x.x).

i also see no difference in log (bbservice.bsnl.in ), may be they have not changed it everywhere. Can you post a screen shot ?

the above link shows new interface but other portal(bbservice.bsnl.in)is also working as before with same old interface.however new interface is better because it can show results of your data transfer between 2 particular dates & it shows the data transfers alongwith MAC address so you can confirm that no other computer used your account because MAC address is unique to each computer.you can also save the report in excel format.

In my place (Surat), They changed the link to new format for 2 days ,then switched back to earlier format.

@perry261,no problems here.i am using both links BSNL Portal & http://bbservice.bsnl.in/ first link show new interface while 2nd link show same old portal page & both pages are getting updated with same entries.

They changed the link to new format for 1 days ,then switched back to earlier format.

when i enter my user id and password in both the links they return error asking me to check the username or pass

The new interface says that we can "View and Modify Your Profile" also from the site.But I have till date failed to edit or modify my Profile.Can some body explain how we canmodify the profile.

The site seems to be under construction. Another new tab called "your orders" have now appeared. The MAC has now been taken off the site and only appears in the exported excel sheet.

i want to ask u people that is this new portal showing which plan u are using currently.i.e its name... I have searched my whole profile but i didnt find it anywhere.. the old one was showing in orders section but in new one the order section only gives the date of activation of plan and other things.but not its name..

have u people checked yours... please do check it so that i can complain it to my local authorities..

but when we use the above said link it automatically is redirected towards the new portal... Previoursly this link was leading to the old portal were the plan name was given.. ok is anybody having any more suggestions...

That is strange. It is not redirecting for me. In fact I can check usage on two sites - the first one as mentioned above and the second one (BSNL Portal!!) which happens to be the newer one.
