    Default really need serious help........

    hi!!!!!!!!!guys...... i m using bsnl broadband with 500c plan......
    form some days my phone line get dead......so genuinely im not able to use net + the phone..
    but tomorrow as a time pas i just switch one my modem and it get connected.......
    i m really get shocked that how is this possible.....my net is working fine but my phone is till dead i checked all my phone line all thing are OK...so that my net is working phone is not....and my phone(set) is also ok...................... can nay one help to me that wat goes around with me...............

    yes it's possible .it has happened 2 me lots of times.the broadband internet connection and the voice transmission both uses different channels 4 connection,thats why.the adsl modem acts as a splitter which splits the voice and the internet data.
    am no expert but thats all i know.

    just take it to bsnl , thy will replace it.

    theres nothing wrong with the modem my friend.. just wait for a while, give a complaint , your phone should work fine..

    as superprash2003 mentioned that there is nothing worng

    Their may be a problem on the BSNL side, log a complaint and wait for it to get attended

    Just complain that your phone is completely dead. BSNL will look into it.

    And about that internet connection with phone line dead, it happend to me several times. I think actually two (or more) different signals of different frequencies are transmitted through the same phone line- one for making phone calls and the other for broadband (may be more for IPTV etc).
