i guess you are in bridged mode. then port forwarding is not necessary..just open those ports in your firewall..

Prashanth Speaks-Technology and Life: How To Open A Port In Windows Firewall .. you are in bridged mode i hope.. after opening a port you can confirm it by going here Online Port Scanner | Port Scan | Port Scanning | Portscan Tool and entering the port number you opened in windows firewall

You are using bridge mode. As superprash said, in bridge mode there is no need for port fowarading - all ports are automatically forwarded.

Check your ports using the links provided by superprash. Also start uTorrent and try downloading a file via torrent. Tell us:

    1. What is your BB plan speed?
    2. What speeds are you getting in Torrent?
    3. Do you see a small green tick mark in the status bar of uTorrent application?

superprash don't give the online portscanner for checking the ports cause most firewalls don't allow it to scan posts(it didn't work for me and my friends). so after openong the port in firewall just check the green icon in utorrent.

thats weird.. the links work perfectly for me.. anyways.. make sure you ensure that utorrent is listening to the same port.. and look for the green icon as said above

try downloading a new movie which has high no of seeders. it should certainly give a speed of above 80KB/s.

Yes. For example, because of the astounding success of "The Dark Knight" (an awesome movie BTW; why no threads on that?), the previous version "Batman Begins" is a popular download on torrent. Try downloading this movie.
