Lightbulb Help me if you want better bsnl broadband

    Hello Friends,

I think we all want unlimited 2 mbps scheme. But getting it at affordable price (Rs 500 ) would be impossible in India. In south korea speed is of 3.6 gbps (Broadband 1 Gbps).

I would like have a modification of 750 UL plan which atleast give 2 mbps at night. So it would offer advantages of both 500C plan & unlimited surfing in day.

For this we must do something. For now i have come up with a letter which i have already sent to some of the BSNL directors(got email-ids from BSNL site). The letter is sent to

    __________________________________________________ ____
    (Broadband-Operations) ANIL KUMAR ddg_bbo(at)bsnl.co.in

    (Broadband) A.N.J. ARADHYA ddg_bb(at)bsnl.co.in

    (Broadband-Development)ANOOP KUMAR ddg_bd(at)bsnl.co.in

    (Public Grievance) N.KUMAR ddgpg(at)bsnl.co.in
    __________________________________________________ _____

    The letter is as under:-

    _________________________________
    Subject : UL750 Plan Upgrade

    Respected Sir,

This is to bring in to your notice that the speed in UL 750 plan is just isn't efficient for larger downloads and specially because of unwanted disconnections.

The Average speed receive with the connection is 25KB/s (Download) which is
far less than that obtained by HOME 500c/500c+ plans.

We would just like to have a slight modification in the UL 750 scheme. The
modification is pertaining to enabling of night 2mbps between 2am to 8am.

In other plans where you give night unlimited 2 am to 8 am the DOWNLOAD speed is 240 KB/s average ( 10 times higher than 750 UL plan). So if night 2mbps (It would be okay if the day speeds are as per normal 750 UL plan) is
introduced it would be very helpful to customers.

    IN BRIEF:

    Plan- 750 UL
Bandwidth - 256 KBPS in Day, 2 mbps in night (2am-8am)
NIGHT 2mbps- Yes ( only between 2 am to 8am)

It would be so nice of you if you would upgrade scheme in such manner.

    Yours Faithfully,
    BSNL Customer

    ______________________________

Although these people are not going to do it, but lets try.

So why would i require your help?

Simple : Even u people send the ditto message and FLOOD :51: the email accounts of these people with the same e-mail. Maybe it would help and bsnl would provide us with better scheme. :cursing:

    Whosoever emails, please mention here.

Obviously we would like it 24/7 , but that would make HOME 1000,1800,3300 & all buisness plans obsolete. That just isn't possible. Thus we should think of what would be within our reach.

I wonder when we would get 8 mbps UL .

8mbps UL in india at reasonable rates will take at least 4 years.even today 2mbps UL is available for Rs.15000 per month.it's not the speed but the price which makes all the difference.

Thats a nice idea, 2MBPS at night. Also It might not be bad to have Full 1MBPS Unlimited at Rs.750

do you think they don't know it?they know perfectly well but will not do anything unless competition becomes fierce or their monopoly ends in area of fixed lines network or the telecommunication minister of our country starts taking interest.

Very True. Considering an exeptional circumstance that if they change their mind it'll probably take several months to put their plan into action. lol....

    Talking

To get the plans changed is not possible i think we should get in touch with different providers and get them to provide us the same so taht BSNl wakes up gets some required changes done.

I see myself very backward when 8 mbps broadband is floating around in just rs 350 / month in countries like u.s.a/u.k. That even includes antivirus & phone.

    check broadbandsuppliers(dot)com

    Your saying is true friend.

    BUT
    BUT
    BUT

if we are so backward, how is bsnl even providing 8mbps.

I feel backward in sense that inspite of such speeds, we are not able to utilize it efficiently. What is point in having 8mbps limited to 1 GB(for example). Thats useless & pointless.

backward doesn't necessarily mean we are in same league as bangladesh, srilanka, many african countries etc.e.g.china is also a developing country but see it's hosting olympics.bsnl has the capability to provide 8mbps just not UL.

Yes 750 and 1350 user are fool, because they can remain online through out the day or in other words they have to remain online all the day (For say research purpose, using various free online software for research purpose) and they are paying only this much of amount. (ie 750 or 1350 only). If they took other limited connection then they have to pay at least 5000 - 8000/- or even >>>>> than this amount. Thus they are limiting the billed money of BSNL. Thus they are very much fool.
