i know many users having the 750 UL plan of bsnl & you will not get more than 30-32KBps on an avg at any time of the day.for getting upto 2mbps speeds you have to take a limited plan like home 500.

Hey dude, did I read correct?
Do they provide better speed at 250/month than 750/month?
What're they playing with? Dont they want more ppl goin for this plan?

I just changed from Home 250 to UL 750, after gettin assured by CC that there'll be no change in speed... On 1st day, there was really no change...
and today, on 2nd day, I'm gettin just 30 kbps transfer rate, when I used to get >100 kbps before this, on Home 250...

So I'm really confused if its temporary, or I'll get the same speed forever, coz yesterday, speed was really good...
I tried CC, but I'm on hold for an hr, while I'm typing this....

Does anyone know about the actual speeds?

did you read the 750 plan details carefully on bsnl site?it clearly says speed 256kbps(32KBps).it's a common sense friend that if 2mbps UL is available at 750 why will people take 500 plan with 2.5GB limit & 2-8AM free downloading only.

even 3g is not going to help.it's not the speeds but the limits which are a problem.what use is 2mbps plan if you can only download 2.5GB in day time for whole month.

you will get ~30-32KBps in home 750 plan & as for your friend did he got the correct bill because many times users after applying for a plan change from 500 to 750 plan thinks plan is changed & they are getting 250KBps while in reality bsnl take some days even weeks to change plan & until plan is changed you will get old speeds.

and i am using it...

it's 256kbps Unlimited plan from BSNL All over INDIA..

not 2MBPS....

u just have a simple logic

More money = More speed + Unlimited

nor

less Money = Less Speed + Unlimited

(less money means a economical plan for normal INDIAN users who surf internet on daily basis....)
