Thumbs up 2 MBPS Unlimited 24/7 Days ?

I have talked on BSNL no. 1500 abt EVDO and
That guy suggested me to use !
2 MBPS Unlimited 24/7 ! at Rs. 750/= Only. ADSL Modem
Is this really true ? :cursing:

2 MBPS that means 2 MBPS Divide by 8 = 250 KBPS DOWNLOAD SPEED

if anybody using this plan plz suggest me or review please

This info youve been provided by bsnl customer care is not true as there is no such 2mbps speed unlimited plan at Rs750 a month right now anywhere in India.

Please dont just follow what bsnl says blindly.. whatever bsnl guys say take it with a pinch of salt else you would end up paying huge amounts of bills at some point.

This BSNL Plan is not available anywhere in India. The Guy Who Spoke To U Is Off His Rockers!!:taz:

    Its 750Rs for 256kbps not 256KBps so that means 256 / 8 = 32KBps

Chill Dude... U Hoped It Was True :tt2:

Now thats really sad!! but if u have enough money to spend on an unlimited connection then BSNL's 1350 Unlimted plan + taxes is good!!

Guys i think that EVDO has a unlimited plan for 2.5 Mbps paln
    that too for Rs 750

i had read in this forum it self, but there is a catch
you will need to buy the device form BSNL and if the tower which you are connecting is EVDO enabled then you will get speed of 2.5 Mbps but if it does not then you will connect using the CDMA X1 speed which is 144 kbps

most of the parts of Bangalore does not have EVDO towers so you may get 2 Mbps unlimited or you may get 144 kbps
it all depends, but i believe that there is such plan in bsnl

& EVDO won't give you 2mbps but ~1mbps avg speeds & that too when not many users are downloading at the same time.keep in mind that EVDO is available at very few places & looks like BSNL will most probably change the unlimited nature of this plan at ~1mbps speeds because who will take then bsnl broadband when 1 can get 1mbps UL for 550 & that's the reason why this plan is still not launched on a larger scale.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

    you can do two things
catch hold of that friends friend who is using EVDO in your area and verify it
    or
believe BSNL and wait for another 2 months, beware bsnl 2 months could be equal to 1 years normal man life

first of all it's kbps i think in case of reliance for sure & in BSNL only 750 plan is 256kbps(32KBps) but bsnl's service is better i think than reliance especially if telephone lines in your area are in good condition.however you can ask from someone using reliance services in your area to get an idea because 400kbps is not bad at 999.

I know people always blaming abt reliance service.. but in my case its just perfect... AWESOME, i never got disconnected, never faced any Down server kind of problem even. yesterday i have sent just one e-mail and i received 5 call from Mumbai abt complain lol what i can say abt its service is just perfect i have ever seen.

Why i m attracted to 250KBPS @ Rs.750 bcoz they say 2MBPS whenever possible, so i wonder abt it what user getting speed at NIGHT ? are they getting higher then 32KBPS (on day on Night) ? if yes how many time happened ? i just wonder about all those things ! anybody using this BSNL plane ??????

Thx for ur help full replay

i know many users having the 750 UL plan of bsnl & you will not get more than 30-32KBps on an avg at any time of the day.for getting upto 2mbps speeds you have to take a limited plan like home 500.

Hey dude, did I read correct?
Do they provide better speed at 250/month than 750/month?
What're they playing with? Dont they want more ppl goin for this plan?

I just changed from Home 250 to UL 750, after gettin assured by CC that there'll be no change in speed... On 1st day, there was really no change...
and today, on 2nd day, I'm gettin just 30 kbps transfer rate, when I used to get >100 kbps before this, on Home 250...

So I'm really confused if its temporary, or I'll get the same speed forever, coz yesterday, speed was really good...
I tried CC, but I'm on hold for an hr, while I'm typing this....:cursing:

Does anyone know about the actual speeds?
