check your SNR values in modem status/overview tab etc.if values are less than 10 then you need to get your line checked.
yes please if your SNR value is less than 10 then it shows instability of line and only your ISP can resolve this for you..
in most of the cases disconnection problem comes due to line problem/ Fault..
netgear modem doesnot have such snr value . and default access code is 192.168.0.1 but in setting there is no such snr value function
look carefully.every modem has these values.try advanced/dsl settings/device status etc.check every tab if you have to.all this won't take more than 5-10 min.

Hey,
I think even if the SNR is not correct you need to contact BSNl get in touch with them
i dont know what kind of support you have in your area but here we have good support
post your modem model no. here alongwith a screenshot of it's main interface page.
i believe that you cannot get SNR status directly.. but you could using telnet netgear dg632 | Community Site
you can check SNR under connection status...
Make sure you dialtone is glitch free and ensure there are no phones connected before splitter!
This is my 800th post!!
