Thread: cant access 192.168.1.1

i have d link glb-502t modem . i dont get link in modem adsl one and i cant even reset my modem as i cant open 192.168.1.1 . when i ping my request is timed out . plz help me guys

in LAN TCP/IP properties enter IP as 192.168.1.3,default gateway 192.168.1.1 & dns as automatic.

if the above does not work
post the output of ipconfig /all from your comp

Actually go to TCP/IP properties and then go to advanced and there enter the default gateway IP as 192.168.1.1

This should resolve the issue.

Also if not again ipconfig results please.

Are you sure that your modem's lan ip address is 192.168.1.1? In some modems, the default IP address is 192.168.0.1.
