can you see a green tick in bottom bar of uTorrent instead of a yellow exclaimation mark?if you are using mode in pppoe mode(in which you get connected by just turning on the modem)have you setup port forwarding.did you configured your firewall(windows/any other)to allow uTorrent to accept incoming connections on a particular port set in uTorrent settings?

Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

just tell what router/modem you are using and the admin/experts on this forum will help you to port forward your connection.your connection just needs to be port forwarded thats all.no big deal.

in bridge mode there is no need of port forwarding.i too use kaspersky with bridge mode.try a latest hollywood movie torrent from mininova AXXO section.also you have to apply a patch to increase half open connections in XP SP2 or above which limits max connections to 8 only.microsoft put this restriction to prevent spreading of viruses from infected computers but it also reduces the connections you can make in torrents.this restriction is in SP2 or above so you have to download a patch which will modify a particular system file(tcpip.sys)to increase your max half open connections limit to whatever you want.use this patch & set the limit to 900.after that restart PC & then in Utorrent--->preferences--->advanced set net.max_halfopen to 900 instead of 8 & click on set.after this go to preferences--->BitTorrent & set global max no. of connections to 900 & maximum no. of connected peers per torrent to 250.also sometimes ISP throttle torrent traffic so in the same settings protocol encryption outgoing set it to enabled & tick allow incoming legacy connections.here is the link for patch----
    http://torrentfreak.com/static/EvID4226Patch223d-en.zip
while applying this patch you will see a windows warning that system file has been changed & insert XP CD.just select cancel & then you will be asked if you want to keep unrecognized version select yes.

HI whitestar_999 thanks alot for helping me. It was like magic all red arrows disappeared and turned to blue . thank u. i got few more doubts please clear them.

U said in bridge mode there is no need for any port forwarding so shall i keep my ip as static or dynamic.

Can i increase maximum number of active downloads to more than 5 now as i did patching.

And as u said i downloaded a movie called Scorpion king-2 which has 11004 seeds but still my download speed not more than 50kbps(for that movie) and when i go for multiple downloads at a time maximum total download speed of all is not more than 130 .

And worst of all is my upload speed its not going above 15 at any case.

Should i use proxy server or not.

Please help me out if i missed anything in setting.

    Thank you

in bridge mode since there is no need of port forwarding you can use dynamic IP.

yes!in uTorrent--->options--->preferences--->queuing select max no. of active downloads more than 5 & max no. of active torrents(meaning max total no. of upload + download torrents)as you wish but keep in mind as soon as a torrent finishes downloading it starts uploading so you need to keep total active torrents always higher than active downloads.also select seed while ratio is <= as a suitable value which means that torrent will keep seeding unless it reaches that particular % you set.

in preferences--->connection under global bandwidth limiting tab select max dl rate 0(unlimited) & max upload rate as 40-50KBps.

when you download any torrent you can see the no. of seeds/peers you are connected to in front of torrent.numbers outside bracket shows to how many seeders/peers you are connected to which are shown inside bracket.when you download an AXXO movie you should be connected to ~60-70 seeders & ~100 peers.
