    i switched from ul 900 to h500 nearly 1 1/2 year back knowing that this ul plan is useless even thought its unlimited ,i dont play online games,i dont chat or surf all the day ,even after they changed ul 900 to 750 i wasnt tempted to go back ,

    coz it took me 7 hrs to download a 700 mb, with h500 i was able to download a 700mb file within 1 hr ,with in 6 hrs i can download around 5-6 movies

    yes i use scheduler and my download manager has inbuilt scheduler so its quite easy

    : with h500 limited plan i can almost surf whole day ,after optimization the webpages like blocking the flash content , i hope they will increase the data limit from 2.5 gb to 5 gb if they make ul 750 to ul 500

    but i feel bsnl can do better,as their network covers 700 cities all over india ,so if they invest more in broadband ,they will get huge returns ,double the invested money ,sadly they r investing in different sections like games on demand,iptv etc ,which is not necessary as there is dth and the cable tv covering that market

    This guy needs every month 120 GBs of data to satisfy his senses &tht too month in month out.And he likes all of tht!!!..This is equivalent to saying tht i love all the movies released this month--all the Tv programmes tht r aired this month ---all the people tht i met this month---all the foods tht r dished out this month &so on...And tht too me is utter nonsense.
    I think ive sayed enough to prove my point.U guys r free to hit back with a vengeance but i care a adamn..:

    Have u forgotten to add health price ? Internet ruins the health and to recover health, u have to pay some extra charges. Unlimited internet like 750 (or 1350) plan is better than 500 coz nobody has to wake during night unlimited hour. I have had such experience.

    And one more, the power consumption of PC is app 100 watts/hr not 300.

    monitor(17" CRT)=75 watt/hr

    CPU+keyboard+mouse=10 watts/hr

    headphone = 10 watt /hr

    total = 95 watts ~ 100 watts/hr

    Remember : Health is more important than money.

    It depends upon the needs of the user:

    If users primary interest is towards Online Gaming or VOIP then 750 is much better.

    If users primary interest is towards Downloading only then 500 is certainly better.

    It depends upon the users budget too:

    If the user just want a good Broadband connection at the lowest possible prices then 500 is best.. if user can invest 750+ then certainly he will get some peace in his mind...

    As far as downloading is concerned.. i think a normal user wont need more than 30 GB per month on a consistant basis and you can download this much in both the schemes.
