Default WA3002G4 Bridge Mode: Please Help

    Hi,

Can somebody please help me in configuring WA3002G4 Wifi Router for Bridge Modem.

Currently i have PPPOE mode but i can dial from PC.

The username and passwords entered by BSNL guy are wrong so i need to dial from PC with correct username and password. If i don't dial from PC for some time all the lights get stable and i need to restart the modem.

    Thanks in advance.

    Confusion.
Means you get connected automatically and also use Dialer without
    knowing Password ?

Were you provided an Installation CD ?

    Copy/Paste this data ( NO edit )
    Start RUN type cmd Ok
    New window
    Type ipconfig /all

1.YOU should Know your USERID and PW.
Also a 14digit Portal Usage ID and PW
Get both from JTO your exchange.
Password needed to use "Dialer ""Bridged"mode.
    2.
What BSNL has entered in modem Is Your UserID
    and PW.
    In browser type 192.168.1.1
    admin admin
    Modem/router settings menu appear.
    If confident select WAN EDIT
See the page containing UserID Password.

    expertise/knowledge in computers.

First of all make sure whether you are on PPPoE (Always on mode, username & password stored in router) or Bridge mode (dialer to connect).

Thumbs up steps for CONFIGURING TO BRIDGE MODE OR PPPoE

1.go to 192.168.1.1 in your browser and go to advanced setup.
2.click edit on the first one.
3.select next, a screen shows up wanting you to select PPPoE mode or Bridge mode...

PPPoE: enter your username and password(used for dialing and not for usage checking!),service name 'dataone' or whatever you wish... click next ,and save and save and reboot....

Bridge:just give a service name and save it. But you must dial from your PC to connect to the internet.

i personally prefer bridge mode since i can program my system to auto-connect at 2 am... hope this helps to someone wanting info!

P.S. i know this is an old thread, but since many have similar problems and i am bored...........

To connect more than one device to internet, you need to be in PPPoE mode. Otherwise you need to make one system a hot spot. If you laptop has Windows 7 Home Premium or above, use Connectify.
