Default Irresponsive BSNL officials

sir ,
I Deposited the payment for BSNL broad band on July -5 of this year .But they failed to give me the connection on the certain time . I wander around the exchange and after 10 days ,I received MODEM in office .But they didn't give me the connection immediately . On 17 they came and taken away the modem finding it's defective and return me a new modem on 21.Then also they didn't give me proper response ,i connected it by myself.After 1 day ,there was a failure of web page display and connection was failed .Even i complained many a times didn't give me any response. On 31 I Met D.E. of Exchange office ,he told that their duty is to provide only modem .They doesn't care about any complaint after taking modem .(I lost the full deposit for one month and my valuable priceless time and my tasks are postponed)I requested them and they ignored to repair the connection and simply gave me a new modem by taking the old.Again i connected my self .But there is no connection. I complained to customer care . The executive came and connected it by changing th e settings.The next day he telephoned and behaved rudely for the complaint i charged.At that time i was not at home , my younger brother received the call .
What should i do, we could not do anything as he is an higher official (JTO).Could we proceed legally ?

never rely on others especially govt organizations for support/services.use the above link & read as much as possible & hopefully you will never have to call bsnl again for help unless ofcourse problem is with the line/exchange.also visit this forum frequently as you may find solutions to many problems here which you may have to face in future.

if u get a bb problem then go to the technical guyz, not to the idiots..
and try getting sum connnections from ur local exchange( jankaaar)

even i had a similar problem.damn these people they don care bout the customers...they behave rudely....the people there are dumb and just get the salary just for roaming around and not solving the problem.........

I can understand the frustration - but BSNL plans offer more value for every rupee spent.

But do not take things lying down. if someone shouts at you, shout back with a louder voice. And you can always file a case in cosumer court for non-compliance of a service. Most people cow down in presence of an official - jus remember:

a) carefully analyse who is right
b) give the other party full chance to explain and justify
c) remember that even though the customer is always right do not behave rudely
d) do not take things lying down - if you have paid for something, expect a service back.

These BSNL people are not attending soon and not givinmg response immediately. Is it the way to behave with the customers. Who gave them right to n\scold the customers.
I complained about this to higher officials . They respond well and suggested me to give a complaint by fax message to CGM's office.

I want to claim the compensation for the inconvenience i faced in last month . How could i do that ? shall i complain to CGM's Office or Customer forum.

On saturday or sunday (9 aug or 10 aug ) I got the problem again many a times the the network disconnected and connected again . After some time the connection got down completely . I got the error displayed error (679 ) ,that is on a rainy day . I compalied the customer service on monday . later i remembered them many a times ,but no response. (later i got 720 error)on thursday i complained to region cell . still now my problem is not resolved .

I want to know about the 769 error and 720 errors . Who is the responsible for 769 error and 720 error . If these error displayed , is not responsible of bsnl executives to solve the error.We ourselves should solve this?

dont rely on others for getting your connection settings.that way if something goes wrong in future u will have to call the same person again for settings.my advice-read around on forums and try to gain as much knowledge as possible.that way u can avoid those uneducated idiots.
