Dear All,
I am using DataOne WA3002g4 modem, In this modem where can i give the restictions, means site allowing resitrictions. please give me the details.
and also where can i give the perticular site blocking in the router, please tell me the details.

guys i hav a problm here......it sems like the modem restarts its selfand causes diconnection............and 192.168.1.1 opens only if i reset modem.....but the usage page is not avaliable if i reset.....once i turn on the bridging usage connects but unable to connect to 192.168.1.1.........

hey guys.. i have exactly the same modem and was just wondering . can i use this modem for file transfer from my desktop to my wifi??? my setup looks like this:
my desktop is connected to the router with RJ45.(desktop dosent hav wifi)
my laptop is connected thru wifi , wpa-psk ,
i am using bridging, so dial up from both whenever i need and i intend to keep it that way.
using xp sp3 and both the systems have file and printer sharing turned on. firewalls ive disabled, when i ran the network wizard both pc,s were added to the default "mshome" domain but in my entire network in network places .. the other pc is not shown. so i cant access
please guide if u think its possible

Trying to set up my router but i keep getting this
the gateway cannot be accessed . make sure the gateway is powered on and check the cable connections .
If your computer uses a fixed IP address , make sure it is in the same subnet of the gateway's default IP address 192.168.1.X
I m no techie . Please help me out with this .
