Rep Power: 2  |  Broadband usage monitoring software unsable I am using datafox with firefox 3.1 ,but it didn't show me the bsnl broadband usage. But it shows usage when Bsnl usage bbservice.bsnl.in site but it now a days usage bbservice.bsnl.in/wps/portal. Shaplus software's bsnl usage finder 1.1 also not usable kindly intimate how can I usage above software to view usage. |

| Platinum Member  | I am not sure on this but it appears that Shapus' software is usable on old BSNL connections where IP address is 59.xxx.xxx.xxx. It does not work on 117.xxx.xxx.xxx. But I may be wrong. Anyway, if you restrict day time usage to forum visits and casual surfing and leave heavy downloading to nights (2 AM to 8 AM), you should be fine.

| Platinum Member  | it seems that bsnl now redirects the requests for bbservice.bsnl.in to bbservice.bsnl.in/wps/portal as the later link is much more stable & provides much detailed usage details like MAC address,exporting to excel etc. |

Rep Power: 2 | Shaplus releases its usage finder version 1.2 for IP 117.x.x.x. But still it is not working properly as the bsnl portal sites are changing almost everyday, as sometimes it gives usage at bbservice.bsnl.in and sometimes at bbservice.bsnl.in/wps/portal. I think for this reason there is a problem with usage finder version 1.2 |
