    Default Not able to do port-forwarding in UT300R2U(pppoe mode)

    Well , I have completely tired to use all tricks to do port-forwarding in pppoe
    mode in my router(UT300R2U).

    I have tried all these:

    1)cmd->ipconfig->my ip address
    2)logged-in to my router
    3)advanced-nat->dmz->entered my ip address
    4)save/apply

    utorrent port checker gives 'Error! Port 6881 does not appear to be open'

    When I do these steps:

    1)Go to Lan->properties
    2)Click Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) and then the Properties button
    3)put IP address and subnetmast what you see in command prompt by doing
    ipconfig.

    when I do the above three steps , I am not able to open any pages.Then I
    have to go back and change the setting back to 'obtain ip address
    automatically' mode.And that way port-forwarding is not working.

    I am in big dilemma,please solve my problem

    best regards,
    Spectre

    Have a look at this guide if it helps:

    Torrents and Port Fowarding Guide

    If the above does not help, do the following:

    a) Assign a static IP address to your PC's lan card (TCP/IP) properties. The IP address must be in the same subnet as that of the modem/router. Here is how to: How to set TCP/IP settings

    b) Go to your router's configuration page and enable NAT-DMZ option for the above IP address.
