Rep Power: 0  |  Wifi ModemType II but one wired Desktop I have type II wifi Modem ZTE ZXDSL531B.Presently, I am using on it only one wired PC.How can I disable modem s wifi function.If I can not do so then what step should I take to prevent hacking? Also, if I change my password in modem does the same becomes my password in my usage checking site?Also, modem s opening webpage has its own default password as admin.Should one change it? |

Rep Power: 5 | There is an option to disable wi-fi in the "Basic Wireless Setting" (where you describe the SSID, etc.). If you are unable to disable wireless you can follow many steps to prevent access. Please read the "Wireless Security Primers" in the "Broadband How To" section.
