    Angry can i use 2 modems?

    Hi friends

    I have two modems
    one is type1 utstarcom u300r2u
    and the other is type 2 utstarcom WA3002G4

    With my first modem i can work normally ( this is the default one given by BSNL)

    but with my second modem i am unable to connect to net
    there is always a error displaying ERROR 691

    but with my first modem every thing works fine

    plz help me how to use my second modem.

    yes you can use 2 different modems but can not connect both modems on one phone line at same time...
    coz if you will connect 2 modems on phone line then it will affect REN (Ringer Equvilent Number) value on your line... and 2 modems never works on one line...

    if you have 2 or more computers then its better to use a router...

    and as you said your first modem is working fine so i think you can keep using that only only.. there is nothing wrong in this know...
