Talking How to use others username and password?

    hii
Me and my friend stays at same locality ( side by side house).
we both are using BSNL net.
The issue is he can connect to net using my ID and password but i am unable to connect using his ID and pass.

he uses a TOshiba LAPTOP with wireless modem ( wi-fi net)
where as i uses an assembled PC with basic modem UT300R2U
should i have to change any settings to use his account (his plan is UL750).

    What is your plan?

If your friend's connection is port binded then you cannot use it.

Your PC being assembled or your modem being different has nothing to do with this.

If they do, they will file a criminal case against you. Nowadays with all these terrorists hacking into the BB connections, the police will look too kindly at all.

No. It is illegal. You cannot use anyone else's account (with or without permission).

yes it means his account is port binded or you can say mac is enabled on his account... and i suggest you not to use any others account coz its really a crime and these days police and cyber crime cell is seaching for this kind of hack attempts from different locations...
i still remember when i was in pune cafe wala took a copy of my ID proof and while i was surfing a cop came in cafe to check all that.. and he checked my online activity too.. may be i look like a terrorist thats why or cops think ki sab ganjae log jinke baal nahi hote vo bamm fodte rehte hain... :taz:

just4kix do you remeber i told you this when i called you from outside cafe where there was signal problem inside cafe....

    good advice, member smoothvibes !!!
Now a days with ,all these terrorist activity and police being very suspicious, it best not to even try to use account of another person.

and BTW if you already got your account then why to use others account and take any chance...... coz if cops are not involved then also its illegal to use anyothers account or services without permission or service provider...

Actually port binding is something very simple - nothing technical as MAC address, etc. Port binding in BSNL simply means that your broadband connection is tied to your phone number. So someone else cannot use your account because his phone number would be different.

The problem with MAC address is:

    - it is too cumbersome to implement. When the modem is issued, the MAC address needs to be noted down and tied to the bb account
    - if you change the modem, the connection will stop working

    ohhh... is it like that...
so it means you can brind any laptop at home and start using it without any issues.. coz here in delhi.. this sify is using MAC which creates a hell lot of problems...whenever my friends come home they can not use there laptop n everytime i need to call sify to bind new system (or second system on account)
sify can bind 2 devices at maximum in delhi..

friends dont worry abt legal issues
As i am not intrested in logging into his account. i just want to know how it technically works.

I am pretty more enthusiastic because he(my friend) can login an i am unable to do.
i just want to login once.
