I think heavy bandwidth usage and choked BSNL servers are the main issue causing this problem. Many users all over India are reporting similar problem.

My internet connection is working fine. No Disconnection or interruption at all from last six months.

Downloaded Windows 7 RC today without issues. The DAP speed was 180+ kB/s on an average.
