hi, guys......... last month i got this broadband.. i don know exact date when i got this.. so now i wanna know tht ma internet account will be calculated for tht date or frm 1st of everymonth??


and like lets give u an eg.. suppose on 15th of july i got this connection.. then everybillin cycel will be from 15th to 15th... or ma bsnl will manage for 15 days of july n then from 1st of aug reset it??

coz ma usage i can see month wise. like 1st of everymonth ...


and leme tell u,, guys.. so much i m messing u just to manage ma downloas.. 2.5 gb.. last time ma download was 1.8.. atles i shud get as much as i pay.

every thing is calculated as per day only

ya but from which daTE to which?? from 1st of every month or from day of joinin.. and consequetive billig cycle?????? wher can i find which date i got the internet connection activated??

Generally billing is from 1st till end of the month.

For the first month all charges will be prorated from the date the plan is active, i.e., PROVISIONED.

Let us assume that you signed up for Home 500 C+ (2.5GB / Rs. 600 pm) and the plan went active (provisioned) on 19-Jul-2008. Let us also assume that billing cycle starts 1st of every month. Now July has 31 days so you will be charged from 19 till 31 (13 days) as follows:

Plan Fees = (600/31*13) = 251.61
Usage Limit = (2.5GB /31 * 13) = 1.05 GB
If your usage is more than above, you will be charged at 80p per MB on the exceeded usage

I hope this is clear (if the month was June, divide everything by 30, 28 or 29 for Feb, etc.)

Service Tax will be added to the above.

My connection activated by 12th of Aug and according to customer care, the billing period will be 12th to 12th. Not pretty sure.

ya.. just4kix i understood completely.. but as ensine said.. abt his billing cycle.. wat do u think??????????/ any confirmation or something ?? like how can i know whether my billing cycle starts which date... 1st of month or from the date i joined??... thts the thing.. calculation i agree.. but whether bsnl ppl calculating like this ?? or straight forward form the month started... tht will be the biling cycle??

Call BSNL BB Helpline 1800 424 1600.

for 1st month in which you get connection billing will be from the day you got connection to end of month.afterwards billing will be from 1st of month to end of month.this is confirmed as i paid my bills in the same way.
