    Default Utstarcom doubts

I have recently got BSNL BB connection. The modem supplied to me is UTSTARCOM. THe following are the details

    Device Info

    Board ID: 96338W-20P2
    Software Version: 3.08.02.IB.02.01_1206_030308
    Bootloader (CFE) Version: 1.0.37-10.1
    Firmware Version: DNA-A211-I-0001.01
    Hardware Version: DNA-A211-I 2.6
    Model Name: DNA-A211-I
    Wireless Driver Version: 3.131.35.6.cpe2.0a.s

This information reflects the current status of your DSL connection.

Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps): 507
Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps): 1860
    LAN IP Address: 192.168.1.1
    Default Gateway:
    Primary DNS Server: 192.168.1.1
    Secondary DNS Server: 192.168.1.1

    I have the following queries:

    1. I have a HP laptop dv2500 on Win Vista Home Premium with wireless enabled. How would I configure the laptop to access my Wireless modem. Step by step procedure expected as I am a novice. I need information on setting up wireless LAN also.

    2. I have a PC with Win XP. I have established a PPPoE Connection and am able to access the internet without any hindrance. I would like to know if it is possible to keep both the machines connected : the XP PC thru. PPPoE connection and the Vista Laptop through Wireless. If yes, how? If no, is there any way so that I can access the internet through both the systems simultaneously.

    3. I have been provided with a userID as well as password. I would like to know whether I get a free E-mail account with the Home250 plan? IF yes how do I access the same?

    4. How do I check the usage of my account?

    Thanks for the patience.

I tried following the links that you have provided.

The setup files are mentioned in there are not uptodate. As per my installation files, it automatically does not detect my modem. I set up my PPPoE connection without installing the modem.
