Thread: How much time will it take to get connected after applying

I just want to know that..how much time will they take to give me a connection?

I live in a town called Mangalagiri?

I want to go with 512kbps unlimited plan(I definetely need it)
Does BSNL is offering that type connections at towns also??

BSNL plans are universal across India where available. If your town is offering BSNL BB then UL 1350 + plan will be offered.

As far as how long it will take, there is no fixed answer as it is a highly local issue and changes from exchange to exchange within same city also.

I am now living in Hyd....planning to shift to my home town!...that's why i needed BSNL!....

I make my living on internet thats why i need a better connection...

Man they are soooooooooooo slow...

Firstly I registered 3 times, but they didnt gave me any response for several months.

Then I was very angry at them and I went to the General Manager of the company and complained to them. After my several visits they were forced to give me a connection - it also took 1 and a half month.

well i would say BSNL services are different everywhere , so if u r lucky then u ll get it within 3 weeks.

ohho what a pity

i live in hyderabad and i got a connection within 7 days of appplying.

within THREE days they gave me a new phone connection.
and after within FOUR days they brought me a new modem and net connection.

they Would have given me a new connection within 3 days
if there are no holidays ( Because in the gap there are 3 public holidays)

I'M FEELING LUCKY

I applied for BFone on Sat and got it working by Monday evening. BB has been activated after 4 days.

it takes about 14days (on an average...) for BSNL to provide BB where exactly you need BB, in hyd or somewhere else... Better idea is to contact your local exchange once...

I got the connection in two weeks....

It all depends on how good is your telephone exchange, nothing else some people got their conection in just 4 or 5 days and some poor people like myslef got their connection after waiting for 4 longgggg months!!

2 months for me after that i had to use political pressure
