Thread: processor running 100 %

some problem with DNS cache storing non working entries due to which when network service connectes to net it hang because it first keep trying these incorrect entries in DNS cache.

i usually use a host file to ban some ads.
is this the cause for my problem??

maybe but not sure.anyway i found this solution by searching on google.if you use spybot it should automatically create a modified host file to block ads.

I think you got spyware or some kind of wierd trojan. First of all, install AD-Aware, its a good spyware sofware and then use AVG to do full system scan. Do this and everyting annoying will stop.

@realton,please read the posts above you first.it's not a virus problem but corrupted DNS cache & problem is already solved.

OOpsssss!!! I thought it was spyware Problem, It sounded like the same problem I had sometime ago!!


P.S what's wrong with you whitestar, Its RELTON, Sheesh!! Do you add "e" by default.??
