Thread: BSNL Broadband not active from almost a week now!

Guys,

Do any of you have issues with BB not connecting at all and the ADSL link not glowing but always blinking? I have had this from almost a week now, a friend nearby also has the same issue. Bangalore>Subramanyanagar here.

Which state/area are you living in , i have dumped BSNL and gone with Tata Wimax.

I never experienced such problem as I am working daily with good speed. My location is Kormangala. It might be problem with local exchange. Better lodge a complaint with BSNL.
As per my understanding, ADSL LED blinks when there is data transmission between peer and server. It might possible that modem is keep trying to establish the connection with server.

Issue resolved for now. Either one of the wires / splitter has some loose connection!

The link light glows in Yellow when the link is up and it stays blinked on it means the link is established.

After the pppoe logs it the same link light turns orange in my case .

if its blinking then it could also be due to interference or loose connections.

Even my connection is gone bust. I face dissconnections every 5 min now, its irritating. Sometimes the internet light goes off and sometimes it goes off along with DSL light.

If the DSL light is blinking then there must be some problem with your telephone line, check whether the dial-tone is clear free from any cricks and irks! if it is free and it is crystal clear then the DSL light should glow constantly

My DSL line glows perfectely well, its my internet light which is causing me problems, My pc says that it has truble conneting to the Internet servser.

what is internet light???
