How to increase speed of my EC325 card

eh can you please elaborate your problem

I could not get more than 5KB/sec speed during download.
I purchased from ahmedabad. even surfing looks slow.
if you can please help.

what type of connection you are using?if it is some kind of wifi connection then what is the promised speed by your service provider?5KBps=40kbps.

If I am not mistaken, EC325 is Huiwei data card provided by Reliance Wireless Internet.

If this is so, then you should expect a speed of 144 kbps or (18 KB/s) maximum. But every ISP promises the above speed upto their server (i.e. within their network only).

Now it depends greatly on what you are trying to download.

- For torrents, it depends upon the number of seeds and port being open. See "Torrents and Port Forwading" in this forum and many other sites.
- For files, it depends upon the load on the source server. You can use Download Accelerator Plus to optimize downloads - DAP will squeeze the maximum out of your bandwidth by starting parallel downloads.

i m also using the in gujrat only
try speedtest net to test ur connection speed
download is a saperate matter and depends on other matters than connection type
