hi is there free download timings like 2 to 8 for 250 plan bsnl broadband.i have been hearing this from friends and even some bsnl employees.is it true?.
for those whose want to check usage call 18004241600 toll free. U ask and u will a get portal ID n password is "password" itself. once u login make sure u change the password.from then on u can login n check the usage.

There is no free 2 AM to 8 AM downloading for the Home 250 plan.

Portal Id is not disclosed by calling the toll free tech support - because those guys do not know it in the first place. In fact those guys have no access to billing and usage system.

Portal Id will be given from the exchange - you need to walk in there. Else it can be given by Bangalore NOC.

a portal ID is like a login name. bsnl people have it ok. u ask him about how to check usage. he wil give u portal ID.

They (exchange people) kept saying that they do not have my portal id. Some lady did not know what portal id was and insisted that BB username is the only id provided. She was determined in saying that usage can be checked by the same id.

Finally I called Bangalore NOC. Initially they were reluctant. But when I explained the situation and they provided the portal id.

What portal? You can check your dataone usage using ur BSNL login name and pwd.

this works only for old BSNL customers having IP 59.x..x.x but it does not work for new customers having IP 117.x.x.x.

For users whose real IP address is 59.x.x.x, the usage portal can be found here: http://sancharnet.in/dataoneredirect.htm

For users whose real IP address is 117.x.x.x, the usage portal can be found here: BSNL Portal!!

u wil get portal ID thru that num me n my friend got it. they have it.there is no need to walk to exchange, exchange people wil tel u to call this num 18004241600. they have only login name like priya@bsnl.in but portal ID is with call tech people
