is it a router or ADSL modem+router because for a bsnl connection you will need the latter?

sorry for wrong information abt modem...its not zdnet its ZET

Company Name of Modem is: ZTE corporation

Type: ADSL Modem

Model No. : ZXDSL 831 II

can this modem work with bsnl dataone connection?????

yes!any ADSL modem can work with BSNL.go to this link & see instructions for c2110 modem whose interface i think is somewhat similar to your modem.
