I've got one from local BSNL guy. It f***d me. I wasted my whole day to configure it. It just connects for 5 minutes and then stops broadcasting the signals. I'm not in a mood to go and give him black & blue. It costed me Rs.500/-. Make sure it is working before purchasing it.

Let me understand correctly. MT841 is a wireless modem/router, right? And you wish to have a wireless PCMICIA card to connect your laptop.

But PCMCIA cards are for laptops and most laptops have built-in wi-fi capability - at least the new ones (3 years and later) do. Or do you wish to connect a desktop? If yes, then you need a PCI card.

In any case why do you want to buy this card (WCBG03H PCMCIA Wireless Card) only? You can buy any wireless PCMCIA card. As long as they have Wireless A/B/G support all will connect.

ok let me explain, the MT841 is a router by which wifi can be enabled by the use of a wireless card which can be inserted into a slot the side of the router... so what I am searching for is the card that connects to the router, which after some research came to know is a PCMCIA card 'WCBG03H PCMCIA Wireless Card' which is speecific to this model.I don't think any other card will work...

Oh! OK. Why don't you buy a separate wi-fi router instead? Agreed that it will be one more box on the table cluttering the other gadgets and costly too but there will be peace of mind.

That's the point ! If I could get wireless capability just by adding a card to my existing router, it would save me some money and I could also be using it to its max...

so nobody selling their card in mumbai atleast ?

    Hey buddy,

Did you finally manage to get hold of this card?
I'm looking for this card now as for several reasons I don't really want to invest in a wireless router of a new adsl modem with wireless capability.

    Any pointers will be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Anshu
