    Default Change modem

    I have a type 1 modem currently which i have bought......can i change it now??

    I am not sure you can change it - BSNL may not take it back. But you can always buy a new Type II or Type IV at full price.

    But call them up and check. Post your findings as this would help others too.

    i dont think they take it back, but they sell another one i guess

    all depends on your local exchange officials but legally speaking BSNL don't provide any warranty/guarantee on modems purchased from them.
